A couple things to the 540/6:
Installed ICV rubber clamp after I figured out mine was missing during an ICV clean and new hose installation. Installed new rubber pedal grips for the brake and clutch, reinstalled the glove box (after a cabin filter job some time ago), and did an "Every E34 Owner Should Do" repair, replaced the hood shocks and trunk lid shocks.
A side note on the shocks, I bought Stabilus brand from Pelican parts. $25.50 for both hoods and $28.00 for both trunk. The BMW OEM ones I pulled off were "made by stabilus". long story short, save the $, spend just under $54, and it will make a HUGE different. Easy to install (minus awkwardly laying in the trunk)That's my rant for today!

Bought a used M43 engine with 143k (km) on it, to revive my 518i next week.
Started it for he first time in months. Had a bad lifter tick so I gave it some hard pulls and it was back to its silent glory. Then parked it in a safer area
Nothing big (I have mudflaps to install, and I need to refinish the M Systems, and I need to deep clean the interior and tackle a honey-do list on this car), but clear tails from Eero in Finland , new Falcon sticker (she's got it where it counts, kid), and some fresh mud from a mountain hoontrip Sunday. Blizzaks are almost worn through.
Drove mine and just passed over 250,000 miles

I finally put Parallels on my Touring and took it off the lift with new M67D39 engine inside Lots of work to be done before it's driveable, but feels good now.

Since the car is finally registered for good, I have no more excuses putting off a deep interior detail of the 540iT.
Front half (well, third) of the cabin took a few hours today, attacking with Ammo Lather and a soft brush, then a toothbrush with an Oxyclean solution for stubborn stuff, and some basic Chemical Guys conditioner for all the leather surfaces. I also greased the door hinges and pulls, and used a small can of black Rustoleum (not spray) to temporarily coat some large rust spots on the passenger rear fender. More in my thread...
