Oil change - Mobile 1 10w-40. Whatever was in there was pretty thin. Thought maybe it was because it was still pretty warm but when I went to dump it at autozone it was still pretty thin. 0w-30 maybe?
Coolant flush - took me WAAAAY too long! First time on a car like this. Thank God I had a buddy helping me! Ended up using 6 quarts ofG-05 and around a gallon or so of distilled.
Did all three drain plugs. One of the ones on the engine block, driver side was a bit of a pain because of part of the exhaust.
Forgot to take some photos before I got dirty... oh well.
Changed out my Cabin filter. Wow, I think it may have been t he original one.

!#$%*%#@!#$! lost the friggin rear windshield trim this morning. Speed was a factor, but I feel the biggest factor was that every single cheap-ass plastic clip that holds the trim on, was broken.
Without removing the rear windshield, does anyone know if those clips can be replaced? They look to be exactly like the front windshield trim clips, so they are slipped onto the glass before the glass is installed. I would rather avoid paying to have the rear glass removed, just to install new clips.

Some Places remain unknown because no one has ventured forth. Others remain so because no one has ever come back......
Changed the mirror someone broke yesterday and also the fuel vapor resevoir
Just bought one yesterday and woke up this morning and stared at it for a good 5 minutes. 535i 5 speed. Soooo happy to find her!
Ordered some strut mounts, rear seat belts, new shift knob and short shift kit to clean up the shifting.535i.jpg
Bought it two days ago (92' 525i), got insurance yesterday, got the plates today and drove all over town!
Drove it to work this morning and for the first time in many months it decided to stall just as I depressed the clutch to downshift.....sigh..
I installed new M-tech pedals, in a dark underground.
I finally got all the pieces for the wide grill. Before I bought the car the front had been in a minor accident and the grill was bent. The po installed a thin grill not knowing the difference even though the car had the wide hood.... So I finally have a matching grill again!
Picked up a ZF 6spd for it

Installed some red seatbelts into my m5

resprayed the rear windowshelf with a matte black fabric paint to get rid of the dreadful lavender color that the sun had faded it to on my recently purchased 540i/6. To my surprise, I didn't need to remove the C pillars.
Finished installing new brake calipers/rotors/ brake lines. Tried to bleed the brakes and the system won't build pressure after trying a few methods. Suspect master cylinder. Ordered a new one. Time to sit on my hands until it comes in
