    A few e34s
Just bought one! after 6 months of searching. I like the diesel sound of it.

Now making an enormous to do list.

Removed a sloppy 15-year-old Metric Mechanic shifter kit, installed UUC Evo3, with DSSR. WOW, what a difference that made in the overall feel of the car. Highly recommended.

Just swiped a new (used) intake from a 1994 740i with the velocity stacks from a yard for $35.49

Planning to replace my intake gaskets on the 540i soon and figured while I've got it apart I might as well see if I can improve the intake's performance

I looked at mine, tried to start it, decided the gas is too old to start. Thought about parting it out, undecided.

I drove my blue car to the car wash... washed it and returned it to its stall with the battery tender and cover. Its been sitting dirty in its stall without being plugged in or covered for some time.

If the weather will ever clear out here I'll maybe get the coilovers on it and mess with the exhaust.

Always loved the B&B exhaust, and nice and shiny.

Foiled in my efforts to find one Eibach coil, I just ordered a new set of Vogtlands, two new tires and I am now waiting impatiently to get my E34 back on the road.

Installed rebuilt alternator. I think old alternator had a bad diode, lights were flickering over 3000rpm.

Always have to manually lock the right doors so today I pulled the right side door lock actuators of our parts car and replaced them on the wagon. The back right works flawlessly so no more having to crawl back their to let someone in. Front is a different story. Finally after 15 minutes got the parts cars actuator thrown in (i swapped the whole mechanism) just to find this one was a dud as well. Taking some of my bros to a football camp tomorrow with no door panel on the door. #Janky'af Sorry. Windshield crack is getting significantly worse as well. fml

Ah. A buddy of my'n offered me his old Eibach's for a 100$ a few days back... Might be too late lol. May just buy them and cut some coils and call it a day for my touring!

Please let me know how the vogtlands are, pretty sure they lower you the most of of any other brand. Also what shocks are you on?

I'll be installing the Vogtlands this weekend. The struts are fairly new KYB, but I'm afraid they were done in by the cut springs, I believe the struts were bottoming out internally, and they're probably toast.

I considered cutting the Eibachs, but my goal was to get the car back to a useable height. The vogtlands claim 1.5" front drop, we'll see. I'm not going to put the vogtlands on the back (for a little while), because I really like the Eibach rear springs, and I have no rubbing or clearance issues with 275 tires on 10" wide wheels on the back.

Right now all I can say is that the Vogtlands are purple.

The front springs in my sig pic are the ones that were cut. In order to compensate for bent wheels, I had stepped up in sidewall size on those tires. I'm figuring, with the new 225 40 18" tires, on the same 18" Rondells (now that they're straightened), will leave me with a little wheel gap, but I'm okay with that. I could live with extremely low, if the roads around here weren't complete crap. The setup in my sig pic was impossible to live with on a daily basis.

    Good to know.
I'll be running top and bottom pads. Combined the pads probably only add a quarter inch.
I'm just trying to get the car back to a height with a little less pucker factor. The way the car was, I was having to attack every incline with the wheels straight to avoid the tires rubbing the fenders, and then turn. I really hate that noise. It doesn't help that my driveway has the perfect incline to cause this problem.

Sanded and painted almost all of the window trim with SEM trim black (DIY shadowline). I tried the plasti-dip approach but it was peeling after just a few weeks. Waiting on a few more pieces that were not reusable.
