    Hi.
    The Bosch injectors in my 1993 M50 525i motor are green topped.
    What are these please compared to your refurbished injectors?
    If I wanted to go just a little larger, what would be the recommended swap please?

    They might be the older single pintel design which is why they are not listed here for all I know.

    From my research 95 M's use 17.5lb injectors(green) also some 3 series, 96+ M's use 21.5lb(pink)

    I had tried to look this up a long time ago and I thought the 525's came with 19lb injectors as standard so I always assumed the green topped were 19lb. Then when i saw this thread but the greens not included I thought to check with someone obviously knowledgable. That greens weren't included in this thread worried me that my injectors either were not original or perhaps the single pintel type that he didn't want to be concerned with.

    I've supercharged my 525i and up to 4,000rpm my AFR is great but then leans out to 5,500rpm. I'm not sure if its that I haven't worked it over 4,000rpm much and the fuel trim hasn't adjusted, or if I need to move to a larger injector to be safe.
    Running a Rising Rate FPR and pump is okay to 85psi. Boost is only 5psi, so i thought the standard injectors should cope.

    If the greens were 19 (you say 17) then i thought I might change to the pinks at 21lbs.

    the greens found in m50s and s50 are 0-280-150-415 bosch # and flow a tad less than what most people think. They are mistakenly often put into m20s and flow about the same as stock flow lol. For this reason I dont bother with greens as they are not an upgrade for any engine but rather a choking point. See how it flows at different pressures below. M50/s50 uses a 3.5bar FPR and M20b25 uses a 3.0bar fpr

    This is exactly the information I was looking for.

    So would you agree that with a 5psi boost the Pinks should be a capable upgrade and fit right in?
    My static pressure is set to 52psi and the pump is tested to about 84psi.
    And if so, please put a set aside for me and we'll arrange payment and delivery by Private Message I guess.

    Are the greens single pintel and the pinks the four hole?
    I've read that the idle is felt to be much smoother with the later four hole injectors.
