When you are afraid to install the intake cosmetic cover because you think by doing so it will bring bad luck, and will cause coolant leaks!
You need new control arms.....again

When a colleague with a newish Point A-to-Point B diesel box (Europe mind you) is asking why don't you buy buy a newer car instead of driving an 18 year old one and you can't be bothered to explain...instead you first let him sit inside and take it for spin...next time he is asking when he could drive it again.
I can't see where the coolant is leaking from...

You know you're a 7 owner when your neighbors ask if you're a mechanic and maybe you should live in that Garage.
You know you're a 7 series owner when you have the one you bought which was restored by someone else in the Garage and the same year and model in the other Garage getting a makeover by you and you keep asking yourself; "can I keep both of them once I finish so I don't have to decide which one to sell"?
When your drive way is full of 7s

When you read this thread and think seriously about getting that window unit in your garage so you can work on her in the S Texas Summer and not sweat on the Leather
When you somehow don't manage to get your daily driver fixed despite having all that money and time for parts and labor for fixing most of the things that go wrong with your 7 in the meanwhile.
I had a new windshield put in by crystal glass and ever since have had a whistle from the windshield at about 125kmh. Sometimes less if the wind is strong in the right direction.
Took it back to crystal 5 years later and they resealed it and varathaned the cheap weather stripping they used right to the glass. No charge. No more noise. Should have taken it in years ago.
Perfect 👌 😂
