This is a set of four (4) E34 M5 wheels Style 20 with Turbine Covers off my '91 M5. I do also have a fifth forged rim pictured that has just been refinished and painted.
This is the FORGED variety and these are much rarer than the heavy and weaker cast versions.
The wheels are 17" x 8" with a 5 x 120mm bolt pattern (correct for all 5 lug BMWs) with an offset of ET 20. The offset and bolt pattern is correct for all BMW E28, E24, E34, and the E30 M3.
These wheels are straight, some paint blemishes, include bolts for the inner & outer coverings. 2 rims currently have tires on them, but will be removed prior to shipping. Photos show the actual wheels and covering. email me at stiggy68@gmail.com for more pictures.
The price is $1,250 plus shipping for the set, and $350 for the solo rim that has been refinished. Would also consider selling covers or individual rims separately if we can work something out. PM with any questions.
Thanks!
sell just the covers?
Awesome wheels. I wish I had never sold my turbine covers from my M5. Big mistake. It may sound ridiculous but I believe that these wheels are appreciating. It is hard to find a set for less than $1000 these days, even in rough shape.
In my experience the cast wheels are more rare. I have owned six or seven sets of M Systems in the past four years and have never come across any cast versions, though in a lot of advertisements people claim that the forged wheels are more rare.
Good luck with the sale. I hope you don't end up regretting it like I do =p
