The next guy in line for the tool, coolcom, requested i bump him down one spot. So this means your next up for the tool. Are you ready to receive it? The will be shipping out this Monday, Nov. 20 and shipped USPS Priority Mail to you. Let me know ASAP and will get the rental set up.
Thanks!

The subframe bushing tool is back with me and currently available.
The last 3 names on the reservation list were complete no shows so I’ve removed them off the list.

Jed,
Please add me to the list ( have a touring). I am ready to use this weekend (Dec. 2nd-3rd.) Bushings already acquired.
Ok, will send you PM shortly.
Can you please let me know when it’s available? I was hoping to have it this weekend but it appears not...? I only requested to bump down one week :/

Yes by all means come on by! Even if someone does rent the tool after you, you can still bring it by if you’re local, and save on shipping costs.

Actually, I will be unavailable over Christmas, which will be about when it will be my turn. You can take me off the list for now and I will request again when I'm back in town.
Used the Tool this morning, and it performed Flawlessly. Bit of a pita to get the install stuff on the top for the Front Mounts, but with some patience and nifty handwork i got it done.
My wagon has air suspension and i did NOT unplug the sensor. The lines were taught but not too much, as the assembly is supported by the jack as stated in the instructions.
My wagon is a 99' and has 146k, the bushings could have been changed along time ago, and with how easy they turned out to be, they Should have been done long ago.
Will report back later when i put some miles on it, there are a few train-tracks i cross in order to go to work so that will be the Big test.
I started at 11:30 am and had the last bolt torqued at 14:15, so it was just about 3 hrs worth of work, with a short intermission between Drivers / Passengers side.
that "dropped $1800 on timing chain guides and valve cover powder coating and tons of parts while in there and now flat broke for two months and unable to do the bushings" feeling
Looking for an e39 Touring black carpet set, including the rear cargo cubbies and side sections!
ALSO looking for 540i 6speed manual transmission sets (2001+ pedals with switches, driveshaft, gearbox), for the 6speed swap! Probably not for a while....

Being relatively local to Jed we were able to coordinate a meetup which allowed me to borrow both tools for a day. I took the opportunity to replace my differential bushings as well which included his upgraded billet front mount.
I work like a sloth and it took me 6 hours start to finish which included some other mods like painting my exhaust while I was at it. All in all the process was straight forward, it's just nuts and bolts!!
Jed was easy to coordinate with and now my wagon rides so much better.
Cheers,
Evan
