Did you ever get the tool back? I'm in Irvine with my subframe out of the car, would like to borrow it for one day to swap bushings.
Hi, the tool is shipping back to me today. So I will have it back possibly Monday or Tuesday, depending if the post office works Monday. In any case, yes you can pick it up from me when I get it back.
I have the tool back with me, cleaned up and ready to go if anyone needs to rent it.
I will need it in about a week.
Sending you a PM

Sorry, Put me on the list again. I had to free up some paypal funds.
My job went pretty smooth. On the first one I did have trouble figuring out how to get the top of the jaws on the top edge of the carrier properly, and it wanted to walk down the carrier. Marred it a little bit but nothing big. I finally figured out how it needed to fit and got it locked on tight and had no further issues (felt kind of stupid after I got it right, it's pretty simple). The rest went smooth. 3 out of 4 of mine had no fluid, I could hear fluid inside one of them when I shook it. However, I honestly can't report a huge difference in ride quality. Maybe slight less shock when going over big bumps. I also did not have any pronounced clunking or noises before replacement as some have described, so it was more a pro-active replacement. I used Meyle HD bushing. I'm at 135K miles on an '03.
Thank you for posting feedback on the tool, glad to see it went smoothly for you.
