Long time no talk on this forum, and I think that is a good thing because that means the 540iT has been trouble free for a couple years. I've returned with a question about the air springs.
https://www.suncoreindustries.com/.../rear-pair-of-self...
The air springs on my 540i wagon are finally starting to fail...the compressor is turning on very often to compensate and the rear end is feeling a bit more sloppy than usual despite a complete rear rebuild. I'm thinking it's the air springs. My question is...between the the tried and true Arnott air springs that are $130 for each side or these "Suncore industries" air springs made for the E39 Touring for $92 for BOTH sides haha. I love my wagon...but also realize with the economy I can't have everything being top brand. Does anyone have any experience with non-Arnott springs?
Thank you in advance!

Went with Arnott here, they don’t fit 100% as stock with Sport suspension but they work perfectly and the brand has proven to be reliable.
That said, not a PITA to do so hey, why not take a chance….
