Are you having 4b do all the work? Im going to install a AA stage 1 soon and I want a shop to do all the final touch ups but I'm in santa cruz and idk if their are any local shops that do that here and I've heard good things about 4b. can't wait to see this one complete!

Subscribed. I just put a deposit down on a TT Stage 2 kit. Excited to see the outcome of this product!

Edit- I also have also decided to go with a Southbend Stage 3

I agree, I was around 390-411 on Mike Radowski's old Mustang Dyno with a damaged impeller at low boost. The upgrades are similar to mine but I do have a 3" turbo back exhaust built by Mike. Never went back to the rollers with the new turbo but it screams, your'e gonna have fun.

    Hey man, I'm a professional!

Yes, 4B is handling the whole install.

When is it expected to be done? And what kind of gauges/setup are you planning on going with?

Great choice on the boost controller. Best "addition" I've bought.

    Found more pics

    Bent AC line done

    Another underneath shot

    Boost proof the ICV barb

    IC piping test fit

Doesn't look like the turbo blanket will fit due to the spacing limitations

Did you happen to do a compression/leak down test beforehand?

Nope, I had no reason to do one since it was running great.

Inline 6ers will run very well with weak cylinders.
    Hope it works out well.

Are you planning on keeping the cats? A full 3" exhaust system would be pretty sweet..

Yes, don't want to deal with the catless stink. Going with stock midpipe with Dinan exhaust.

There's no way at all to fit the turbo blanket on there? I have a TT M3 as well and I'd really like to put something on it next time I have it off, engine bay gets extremely hot esp being in hot summers CA has. My first exhaust looks exactly like you have yours, when I went stage 2 I got another down pipe from NickG and had a 3in built. Good build, engine bay looks clean!

David at 4B is the man! He built my motor last year and it's been running well and he's been extremely helpful afterwards.

From the looks of it, spacing is extremely tight in that area. Is your exhaust manifold and turbo housing ceramic coated?

    Some more progress...

    Radiator done

    Bumper back

    Charge pipe installed

My untrained eye is guessing the coolant/oil feed routing will need to be adjusted when the oil pan is tapped and connected to the turbo oil drain

    Little trim to fit

    Hope it's not too low

Why do I always read the title as 996TT build?

    E46 330ci turbo, 05 ZHP,
That charge pipe is sitting much too low. The 2" end of the 90 silicone elbow connected to the compressor outlet needs to be trimmed slightly to raise the pipe up. The pipe should hug the subframe, and sit in the crest between the subframe and ball joint.
