Bump,
Jack, how have you been liking your kit and do you wanna share bracket dimensions?
cheers
As I stated before, communicate well and often, especially when the news is not going to be pleasant.
good thing i found this thread, it's interesting to find out about used parts on other cars being used as upgrades.....mostly because cheapern
this hodge podge kit using 17z and 18z stuff is really cool but...
not sure if this 993 kit has been mentioned here yet?
it's cheaper for the whole thing i believe, but the downside being 4 piston fronts and the rears require a lot of work, including fab work and grinding down brackets and stuff

Looking for an e39 Touring black carpet set, including the rear cargo cubbies and side sections!
ALSO looking for 540i 6speed manual transmission sets (2001+ pedals with switches, driveshaft, gearbox), for the 6speed swap! Probably not for a while....

I know this thread is old but could we get an update or dimensions on the adapter bracket for the front brakes?
Heads up all: I bought Stuck's 18Z BBK for my wagon but I am going to try another front set up that will clear 18" M5 wheels. If anyone is interested in the 18z kit, let me know, its 1-off! They fit under M-pars and other 18s but NOT style 65s.
The kit accepts e92 M3 360x30 rotors which I will have a brand new set to sell with the kit if anyone is interested. PM ME

To fit inside Style 65's do you need a spacer?
I see.

I'm guessing the 19" 65's will probably fit.
OK fair enough RSB do you happen to know where the brackets are available as I'd like to get a set I will source the calipers over here as air freight and customs makes it expensive buying from USA.

There is a brake bias chart with caliper type and rotor size that might help, not E39 specific but should be close enough.

Developing brackets for lugged calipers can be a challenge because of limited space and mounting distance of the caliper from the knuckle. Additional issues may arise when the new calipers have a lug spacing that is close to the spacing of the OEM mounting points. This makes radially mounted calipers much easier to adapt (big reds or similar).
I haven't taken the time to measure the stock mounting points of my e39 yet but I'm contemplating doing so and running off some test brackets on my cnc.

I'm very interested in a front kit and/or a bracket too!
So my current road block is getting a CAD design or such for the brackets and a fabricator willing to make them.
So far the issue for the companies I have communicated with seems to be the limited quantity being requested.
Also, I have not received any positive responses from my follow up questions regarding at what quantity does it make sense for them to do it...
