I think Redmedial set up a master plan back in 2004 when he joined the forum to grab around $150 from glove box plates and take off to Aruba. It took 10 years of posting but it looks like his master plan worked (a joke).

Ha ha. That's a good one. Still, I think some of us are wondering if he's lost track of our payments. I can't imagine it's easy to keep track of them without some kind of master list.

I'm sure part of the problem was not expecting the demand to be crazy like this. It sounds like he works long hours as it is, and this side project blew up beyond his expectations.

Be patient. If his wife is like mine, he's a dead man walking for taking this task on.

...life frequently takes unexpected turns. Best intents become hard to fulfill and sometimes people just forget things. I am certain there is no ill intent in whatever has come up. Nevertheless I hope it works out for everyone involved.

Chill... Remember that the OP didn't offer this as a business transaction - it was a favor (and a pretty selfless one at that). I can think of a thousand reasons why he hasn't been able to get to a machine to make them all up yet, let alone pack them and mail them. Same goes for getting to a computer to update us how he is coming along. Sometimes life gets in the way. Hopefully just mundane stuff and nothing lousy came his way. If we don't get our bars, we can always skip dessert someday and be more than square.

Originally emailed him to see if he's still making these and he responded that he was, but they will take a while. Once I made payment I emailed him twice to check that he received my payment and I never heard back. That was 2-3 weeks ago.
