I used the DIY on pelicanparts. Has a good write up with pictures. It's really not that bad, should be able to do it in a couple hours. Take your time when reinstalling the glove box. Check that you're lined up with any speed nuts.

Once you take the glove box out, put the bar on the back, screws will go in from the front of the glove box when it's open and attach the washers/nuts to the back. See the pics on post 341 on this thread.

I got around to installing mine the other night. Now looking over at my snugged up glove box makes me smile!

Got mine installed. Fixed box fine. Just wish the QC was a little better: screws were combination of phillips and slot, washers were almost too small to work, kept falling through the notches.

lol. sorry man. started doing this to help out... sitting there counting bolts in a bag all day.. i'll go insane. Glad it fixed the glove box though. Still can't believe your car was broken into!!!


Buying new hardware for the next set. with larger washers (thanks for the feedback), nylocks and button head socket 1.5" long.

I'm including stainless hardware.. #6-32 Button Screws (1.125" Length). I don't know the exact length needed, some said just under 1", so you may have to hack em down a little. Also comes with oversize washers & regular washer and nylock nuts.
