So i just finished up grinding and sand blasting and acetone wash.. have to say.. these look pretty darn good!!!

I got payment from 10 People. Thank you to the 90% who sent payment as a gift!!! HOWEVER, if you do send it as a gift, make sure to put your address in the description, otherwise lookout for an email from me (same as paypal email).


I made a total of 23. Still have 13 left. (I may try to make one more batch before i leave, but no promises.) If I run out and someone pays, I'll refund it, but I'll try to keep a counter going when it gets to the last few.

Major thanks to Vikram. Received mine this week and installed it today. What a pain in the #$@ the glovebox is to get out BUT what a great, well made part from Vikram. Re-installed. No more "smiley face" from the box!

Hello all - I have a 1996 Z3 and the glove box keyed latch is very loose and won't open or unlatch. Any suggestions on how to get it open, short of removing the entire glove box. Thanks for any assistance.

😂 I'll post some pictures tonight. Just look at your glovebox. If it looks like its smiling at you (like the glove is too heavy but the latch still closes... this part helps reinforce the top where the glove box latches.

$20 gets a set with hardware shipped.

It should. Mine was in pretty bad shape. The plate will straighten out the top of the glove box. Here are some pics of mine.

Hahaha--I know exactly what you're talking about. One of the cars I looked at before ultimately buying mine had that issue and I thought it was "melting" like it'd been left in the sun.

OK then. Mine (thankfully) doesn't have that problem, but now I know. I appreciate the reply.
