The problem is that I have simple base model 318 without mpg control by OBC

It was a good time. We had three forced induction E36 trapping over 120 mph -- Butters, pbonsalb and c.j.surr, plus Spenka's naturally aspirated automatic E36 M3 running and a couple more E36 spectating. The most E36 at NED in one night that I have seen.

Glad I made it out. I owe you guys one for letting me use the DRs and helping me out.

I found out the reason that the car bogged and started going lean those last two runs... I left the reference line off the fuel pressure regulator after I adjusted it. Too bad, those tires were really hooking up, could have put down a better run.

I know you told me last night, but what was the height on those DRs? Wanna do some gear ratio math.

Go to diffsonline and click on the technical tab. Use the rpm/mph spreadsheet. You can save it to your computer. Plug in your diff and tires and click enter. Tires are 235/60/15. I have street and drag printouts in my car. 1-5 are the same gears for 5 and 6 speed so just ignore 6th.

If I was you, I would first get a set of M3 trailing arms and axles.
Send the axles up to me and I will build them up for you.
I think you would be playing with fire on non M axles.

I guess im going to put up the clutch for sale, I was going through a bunch of slips from last year when I was running a UUC clutch. My worst 60 was 2.1 and best was 1.89 . Since I have installed that 725 twin I have yet to get better than a 2.28 and the majority are 2.3X.

Saddens me cause I love that clutch on the street, but there is just no launching the F-N thing. Too bad I got alot invested in it , lesson learned, I like the track too much.

I did that for my Nittos and calculated in the high 120s. Ended up being 123 for sure according to the drag timer. I'll just compare the circumference to the known top speed of the Nittos.

I think wrinkle walls would cost as much as the new clutch setup. I would stick to the clutch and put down some fast times with some serious drag tires.

Axles are easy to change. I am buying a pair of spare 328 ones. I may send a couple out to your guy to be cryo treated since it seems you've had luck with that.

Im not sure how well 328 axles will hold up, even if treated.

You make a good point tho, buy slicks and would be just as cheap as clutch. Im a bit nervous about radials up front tho.

Just wondering what exactly you're doing to the axles these days. Just cryo treating? Anything else? And what are you looking at for cost? I would love to do a widebody on my car and fit a serious tire but I always just figured it was kind of pointless because then I would just break everything else.

Basically cryo treating them, and using special unicorn grease.
    Assembling with some love.

Between Pbonsalb and I we have probably 200 runs in with no breakage.

I think I have a set of 328 axles in my basement. I'll take a look later today.

I found 1 axle cj. I think the other is in the garage. I'll check tomorrow. Do you want them?
