Out of probably 100 runs, I have two 1.8s, with a best of 1.817. It is not that I haven't tried. I may experiment with the hand brake technique recommended by Mr. Blonde to see if I can become more consistent.

Well my drag racing might be done for the year as well. Just noticed all 4 tires look like this. Must be from sitting too long. Not sure I want to do 130mph on them. This sucks. That was like $900 worth of rubber that didn't even get used. It's just in like a 8-10" spot on each one but I don't know what to do.

Probably not. They're like 6 yrs old haha. Now I don't know what to do because I always said when these tires wore out that I would do a widebody and go with wider wheels. And of course right now I don't have the cash to do everything.

It is definitely pulling like a 500whp+ car. That will be low-mid 11s with drag radials. The S366 is a big boy turbo, what do you have it up to?
Also, do you have a dyno graph or basic info on spool time? I work for borg warner, and I am considering buying a turbo since I can get it cheap. But I think the S662 would be a better fit.

Oh. And that's with a full tank of gas haha

You will need drag radials to realize the potential. That turbo could make 650 plus on pump gas, probably 135-140 in the quarter. But 127 is great for street tires.
Yeah. Pretty frustrated right now. Got in a few more passes. Ran another 127, and a 126.5 so the gate pressure setup probably was the reason for the gain. But my ET's were worse than ever. Nothing better than a 12.25 and mostly 12.3's I'm more mad at myself for not running my gear based boost. I should have its setup still I'm just not running it and haven't tested it lately so I didn't want to waste a run if it didn't work. It was very crowded tonight. I'm still running at about 14-14.5 psi tops. I really need to get a data logger to see exactly what the car is doing. For all I know I can turn up the boost myself right now. I'm consistently running about 11.5 AFR's. If I buy the 16" basket weave rims with a 22 et do you think they could be machined down for more offset to fit better. I've been eyeballing those for sale for $450 but I'm not thrilled with the offset or the width for that matter.

Oh and there was a Supra with a BWS366. We raced on the highway and I pulled on him a couple car lengths. He has radials and ran a 10.7 haha. He said he dyno'd at 680whp? His automatic must not have had the right gear on the highway. Well a wins a win haha

With more power and torque, it makes sense the ET will become more challenging since you can blow the tires off more easily. You are doing great for street tires. And obviously the highway pull that takes traction out of the equation shows the car is fast. If you want to get the ET down, you'll have to go to better tires. You may still be able to improve the MPH though as long as you are not spinning at higher speeds. If you are at ET22 and want ET35, that would be about 1/2 inch of material that needs to be machined off the back of the wheels, if my math is right. If the wheel is only 1.5-2.0 thick, that seems like a lot of structure to lose. If it was only 1/4 inch, I would not worry. I would think about starting from the other direction. Get some cheap 16 inch 328i wheels that are probably ET47, a set of ebay 12mm spacers with hub to reduce them to ET35. You could get spacers that come with extended lugs (I did this for a 328i project car and they seemed fine) or you could buy just the spacers and spend more on a set of quality studs. Studs are easier to use at the track. Butters or I can change to drag wheels in about 3 minutes. We use a cheap aluminum jack (HF for $59 on sale) and a nice 18V impact driver.
Oh, see I didn't realized there was another 16" wheel with that offset. Yeah I have no problem with getting spacers if needed. I guess I just need to find the right model wheel. As the end of the season is approaching I'm also contemplating if I want to jump in with both feet and widen my fenders a bit. I have a plan that should make it almost unnoticable to the untrained eye. I haven't really like too many of they "kits" people are making. Also I would have to look again but aren't some people running corvette wheels with hubcentric rings? I'm sure you could fit some serious tires on those bad boys. And if I decide to do the widebody I would get the wheels and tires I want to keep for a long time and make them fit haha.
