You may find street tires may net you higher trap but also higher ET. The drag tires have more rolling resistance and its possible as your ET goes down, so will your trap.

That's fine. I understand that. I just thought it might be good so different people can see what they need or should I say "could" be able to do with different setups.

On the other hand, you turn up your boosts and will be trapping 130 soon with your setup. Shouldn't be a problem.

I do real well on that show pass time. Except for the real drag cars. No idea on those.

With the BW S366, he could make power to break 140.

See. This is exactly my other dilemma. I'm still on a "base tune" from NickG. 60lb injectors, walbro 255. Not sure if I have enough fuel to go much higher. I'm guessing I'm around 530whp. I don't know if I should just spend the money to get tires and a better drag setup and keep the motor as is, or if I should spend the money and somehow get the car re-tuned. Wether with NickG or go with someone else. I'm not against buying a walbro 400 or whatever I need but it's going to have to e retune or drag setup. Not both. I have a baby coming in about 2 months haha.

I would be running a KB BAP or better pump like a Walbro 400 or DW300 (flows 275 LPH at 80 psi fuel pressure with 13.5v to the pump). With enough pump and properly regulated 60s will support 650-700 rwhp.

I'm so frustrated with my stupid iphone videos and trying to share them I don't even want to talk about it. It's been over an hour and have CRAP. So here is my CRAP video on youtube haha.

    http://youtu.be/YawygFXhWBM

It was 126.15 to be exact. Not that you can tell from the terrible video.

And yes I was sleeping at the light haha Sorry I changed the link this video is a little better

Oh, so if I just switch to a bigger pump it's going to mess with my tune or no? My car has been running so solid I'm not sure if I should mess with it or not. I'm sure this turbo really wakes up around 20 psi and about 600+whp but then again not sure if I should push it. I mean the motor is built with forged pistons and rods, figure 8 o-ringed block, ARP2000's. I would think it should hold the power no problem but then again I'm sure the more power you run the higher the chance for a failure.

As long as your regulator is decent, there should be no change of extremely minor.

I think a Walbro 400 will overpressure the stock regulator. A Walbro 255 overpressures it by several psi. If the 400 does by too much, it may affect the tune. Another issue with the 400 is that it is recirculating most of the fuel most of the time, heating it up.

The flow you want to be concerned with is not the flow at 43.5 psi, which is where most pumps are rated. You want the flow under boost. 51.5 psi base pressure plus 23.5 psi boost plus 5 psi of restriction in the lines is 80 psi. Check the pump flow at 80 psi. You can find charts if you search around. Use 13.5V input. You should be running whatever pump you have off a relay connected to the battery, with the stock wires turning on the relay. Even better is a Kenne Bell or JMS voltage booster.

Based on my research, I bought the DW300 pump. Flows 275 LPH at 80 psi, but does not have unnecessarily massive flow at 43 psi that results in recirculating and heating fuel. I also have the KB BAP, but do not think I would need it for anything less than 700 rwhp. For these motors, I would use a BSFC of around 0.45 lb/hp. 6.2lbs per gallon for gas. You do the math. Liter is 33.8 oz versus 32 oz for quart. 128 oz per gallon.

So is there any way I can tempt you guys into coming out to Lebanon this month? I think it would be a blast , and who knows, maybe you guys will find out your cars are even faster than you thought!! Check out Dragway.com and let me know if you think you can make any of the events? I would come up there but what's the point if your track is that bad.

I think maybe the problem it the track is that good. The more I learn, I realize, its setup for drag racing. Not street racing. Having a proper prepped track for drag cars would have a negative effect for street cars. Its meant to grip the proper compounds. I see cars cut 1.1 60s with less power than us. They are just set up for drag racing.

Lebanon Valley is 300 miles west of Manchester NH. That is a little far to go to the strip. You are located somewhat in the middle so you have to drive a couple of hours no matter what and LV in Lebanon NY is probably at least an hour closer than NED in Epping NH so it makes sense for you to go there.

Damn! But still have to drive hours..... just which direction.

    Not looking so good now!
Although I've never been to LV.....
My cherry was popped in Epping... so that's where I'll go. I'm not a DRAG ho! Lol.
