I personally say yes. At least I could tell a difference. I'm not saying the strut towers lean in and out like trees in a breeze, but keep them locked together and the steering geometry stays where it should.

The problem with typical strut bars is they still allow the front end to parallelogram. Obviously connecting the towers together allows them to add to each others strength, but to really stiffen stuff up you have to triangulate off the firewall or the bottom end of the suspension somewhere.
The only strut bar I've seen do that is the 3SX strut bar for the mitsubishi starion.

i've seen Option2 articles and videos (years ago) where they were able to show the amount of body flex on some cars. from what i remember, every car reacted different, but all improved with a bar. Nothing extreme either.

I think I'd probably go with what the OP posted. It's a solid one-piece design, which I like. I don't like the idea of having the piece bolted to the car and then the actual bar being bolted to the mounts. That's 2 extra points where flex/movement can occur.
Plus, isn't the Strong Strut like $400? I couldn't possibly justify that over $150.

My current thoughts are just to get the Ultra Racing and have it powder coated the correct color (assuming it clears a V12).
The Strong Strut is great as is not having to unbolt your struts to work on your engine, but it's $500 IIRC.
