Nice work on the pull! I am glad you were able to still have the vertical face on the edge of the fender!

Direct me in the right direction for some front runners. Seems like thats the biggest issue with getting the right tyre setup

Thanks man, they are 15x10.275 with a 6.5" back spacing. Those are 26x11.50 qtp's but I'm hoping to fit a 28" under it so it will try to hook a little bit.

Just picked up a pair of Hoosier drag slicks, they are 26 x 10 x 15.
Only a few passes according to the PO. I think I want to go a different route. If someone wants them PM me for pricing. Don't want to clutter this thread. But kinda on topic.

I don't run tubes. Just seems like an added complication... And they can stick to the tire, so u gotta use talcom powder... I think they are more suited for very low-pressure slicks to keep them stable on the top end of the track.

So it's fine to run a 275 series tire on a 8" wide wheel? The m&h said it needed to be at least an 8.5" wheel. I need to make a list of wheels that will fit with the proper back spacing. Evertime I go on craigslist to try and find a deal I get confused and cant remember which wheels would work.

Will the wheels work just not the tires at 28" tall?

The bolt pattern will fit but you need 6 1/2 backspace, the other alternative is to flare the rear.

    THanks man.
Heak yeah man , 1.55 is awsome , there alot involoved going 15" rims unless you can the right backspace.
With antilag and these tires I'm shooting for sub 1.5 60s

U'll definitely get there that's for sure! I'm pretty consistently in the 1.5-1.6 60 ft no 2 step or anti lag! Just a lil 50 shot out the hole!

Hoosier quick time pro 26x9.5x16 but they're too narrow I have to run 18 psi in them to keep the car from doin the dance up top!

    These seem pretty stable
I hit it in 3rd on the highway and felt pretty good
15 psi is recomended for best results so I'm curious how they will react , Have you tried airing up your fronts to like 50 psi.
