here is a s13.4 valve cover i did with a wrinkle black base, a small amount of matte white splatter and then a citrus green splatter with alot alot of flake and finished of with multiple coats of high temp clear.
i tried to take mutiple picutres in diffrent light setting so everyone can see how much the flake sparkles. its look even better in person

Pretty well actually. Before I even start to paint I lean and degrease the valve cover very thoroughly and apply primer then color base coat the splatter paint color and finish it over with multiple coats of high temp clear

For my alpine white paint matched cosmetic covers from S50, I used "Bulldog," it's a adhesion promoter for plastics being painted, but again....that was a couple years ago too. But all the paint is still on the covers and looking awesome after 2yrs, actually about to be fs soon

Just got back in town, so I'll be arranging to figure out what I want to send to try out

I do have have a extra s52 valve cover,fuel rail and radiator cover just not painted yet. But I think I would kool pretty kool actually I could even do to where the splatter paint is all going the same direction so it all looks symmetrical like they where all done at once. Just when it come to the colors I would do a different color base coat other than black so you truly see all three colors like a white or maybe a grey or gunmetal base coat or any other color you would like.
