Wow a lot better than I had anticipated. Man if only we could find the true blue faces like the alpina ones! Even so yours looks good and puts a subtle contrast to even out your interior theme. Good move...+1 on the amber lighting

Michael, i think i saw a Alpina blue faced cluster FOR the E38 on ebay not too long ago..maybe somehow you can mod it to yours?..i dont know about removing needles and stuff..but it was only like $200 BIN

Looks to be the whole cluster?! Its exactly what I want! I would def spend that money. I noticed its not the cluster with the ike module but it mentions to tell them which one you have. Listing ended but I still sent a message.

oh ok. wasn't sure what you meant....

i bought them along with gauge rings from ebay. i painted the needles with UV paint . no need to remove needles, but it was DEF a pain in the rear to install. i hated it. they are sticky and you have to line them up just right while lighting them to make sure the light shines threw...

I'd just leave the amber, and the background looks good. But that's you choice and what you prefer. Just don't do the blue, you'll hate that one.
I'd recommend you use your seat belt as well, crashing at 75mph without a belt might not feel too good.

Also compare the number of these clusters he has sold (eBay feedback) to the number of Alpinas ever made.

Yea techincally isnt it juust a vinyl print out? cant it be printed in any color you want as long as you have the outline
