Drive 4 Corners has announced our dates and opened registration for the meet in 2014!
Last year we had over 60 BMW's parked at the top of Wolf Creek Pass and the Continental Divide for a unique photo opportunity.
We are in the planning stages of the 2014 meet, but have firmed up all of the details regarding date, time, location, and a majority of activities throughout the weekend. We are working on getting discounted rates at the Family of Choice Hotels to all those traveling long distances. Send and email to info@drive4corners.com for this discount promotion.
What: The focus of the meet is having a relaxed weekend with fellow BMW enthusiasts at a getaway location with scenic views and friendly BMW banter. More Information available HERE.
When: August 1-4th, 2014
Where: Pagosa Springs, Colorado
It really is a great scenic area, and worth the trip alone for the views along the Continental Divide.
We had participants come from Texas, California, Nevada, Arizona, South Dakota, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Maryland in 2013.
A main focus for the event is the driving aspect that is only really found in impromptu enthusiast meets and organized BMW CCA drives. We wanted to change that by driving to a picturesque location and meeting up with fellow enthusiasts at the destination to talk BMW's.
Another important aspect is the accommodations for friends and family that allow you to choose what you want to do over the weekend. This could be a trip to the hot springs, the local outfitter, Continental Divide, or even Treasure Falls.
This will be the first weekend in August and we need a few people to help lead a caravan from New Mexico, Texas, and another caravan from Utah. The caravan out to the event with 10 fellow BMW drivers was great fun and we would like to provide that from other states away.
We also need some sponsors who would be interested in attending the event BBQ on saturday with a booth, and giving our participants some extra goodies.
If you'd like to learn more about the event, check out the event in review post on the site http://drive4corners.com/index.php/2...ent-in-review/ and please PM me or email me at Tom@drive4corners.com
I will post more detailed information such as schedule, event feature car, and caravan information when it is ready to be distributed.
Last year's Tee with feature car e24 6 series.

A few more photos from last year:
Oh I am there this year again.
Last year was great. Nice weekend with my dad and brother tagging along. Thanks for all the planning! My sig pic is from last year.
Sweet Aaron and Buck!!
Still growing in size.
Getting planning stuff together, just need more sign ups!!
My dad was thinking last time that it would have been neat if the cars at the top of the pass had been parked in order of maybe year or model, so you could see the "progression" of BMW design (and he is not a car guy). Do you think something like that would be possible, or too complicated?
It is definitely a possibility! We do have a couple of people who will be arranging a 'parking grid' this year so we can get some more unique photos. Not sure if it will be in order of year, but we were considering multiple caravan groups up the pass, and they could very well be separated into year/models... Nothing is set in stone yet though.
I'll definitely be going, just gotta register for it. I live in Durango, so Pagosa is only about 45 minutes from me.
Sounds perfect^^ Luna
I'm getting pretty pumped for the event!
Same here^^
The 2014 tshirt design has been coming along nicely and our designer has been willing to share a bit of a teaser for you all.
Can you guess what the final BMW design will be?
The most recent event update is available here, and the list of updates for the 2014 event is available here and will continuously update as news is posted.
52 registered cars, and E30's are still leading the way!
Depending on Engine Condition the e32 might actually make this.
I just need to find some tires and or rims with tires.
When does the registration close?

Sweet Nick-- I still have to see your E32! Slight chance I could make the burger night down there in CO Springs tomorrow.
What tires and rims do you need? I have some 17" Style 66 staggered, but I think they may be heavier than I want for my e28. I don't have tires on them right now (and they are at Ted's place in the springs!).
Officially registration doesn't close, although after July 1st there is no guarantee we will be able to get a tshirt in your size as they will have been ordered already. Chances are we will have the right since with the amount we are looking to buy, especially since you don't wear a 3XL...
Shame you don't have the E34 Alpine Grillin' machine or we could have a BBQ during our caravan lunch stop

I need any rims honestly. I am sick of trying to source 205/60/15 tires haha. but if push comes to shove I can get some shipped from tire rack for an ok price. just seems like a waste.
What do you want for the style 66's?
I need to get the 7 on the road and see if it is at all reliable. I have not really driven it since we pulled the head for a R&R It looks a lot worse than it actually is now. I think pretty much everything important is sorted. some trim and some paint it will be looking pretty good.
as it "sits" now

I'll text you. They look sweet on E34's so I'd imagine they would look good on an E32...
If you didn't already see on the website, the weekend outline and preliminary schedule has been posted. All subject to change, but will help you all plan your trip and activities!
We have 55 registered cars right now, although I am sure there are more on the fence--- What are you waiting for? Great people, awesome cars, scenic and relaxing location, plenty of driving roads, there is something for everyone.
We are just under six weeks from the event and preparations are coming together!
Well I am picking up some wheels with tires on them monday, so assuming that the car makes it to and from work a few weeks straight without breaking down I think we might make it.
Awesome Nick, best of luck
Dammit. My bride and I will be in Ouray for our anniversary the 1-3rd. Maybe I can convince her and swing down on the way there or home, but as many of you know...the wedding anniversary isn't about me (or the car...)...
