I'm diggin the looks of that. Can it be made from carbon fiber?
Life is like a car wash and I'm on a bicycle.
A somewhat tamer version would be perfection. Nice execution, looks great.
I'd love one with a dual exhaust cutout for my quad setup.

I did a great job on this

I like this.... a lot
Too bad this guy lacks any type of professionalism. After I asked a few questions he told me to "**** off".

Here another shot of Pablo's track car with my diffuser, and for those that think its flimsy it is not, once you bolt it to the car, you can actually move the car with it.
Do you take Paypal?
I can vouch for these diffusers, those e36s are my friends cars and they look so much nastier with the fins in the back
Mateos definitely got some skill with metalwork, and I'd trust these things are track ready
He's considering building one for my E34 M5 and I'm drooling at the thought of how good it'd look. As long as he's got a template car he can pretty much build you one.
Let me know if you ever make an E39 setup.
Or a e31 setup. I would need that on my ars
I agree.
Just have to fab one that would actually work or have someone do it :P
My car is the silver sedan in the OP, thanks for the kind worlds guys. A lot of debate has come up about quality but I have had no problems with this piece, car has gone close to 140mph at that speed the air pressure will test it's true strength and it won't budge!
But does it actually do its job?
How can you know for sure?
You guys are right there is no way of knowing unless we had a multimillion dollar nasa wind tunnel haha. For my driving style I'm not too worried if it works or not, I just love the look of it, and that's good enough for me!
Those look great!
If they were functional all the club racers would run them. Sure looks cool tho.
I could definitely see it being functional. True a full flat bottom would be ideal for aero purposes, but is a pain to deal with (trust me I have built several custom units). This diffuser would definitely help to reduce the parachute affect caused by the rear bump at high speeds which should reduce a significant amount of drag. It doesn't stretch far enough beyond the car to adequately reintegrate flow from under the car though.
It's difficult to tell how far back this extends, but you can clearly see that it is way passed the bumper which is what is needed.
Here you can get an idea of how far back it goes.
