Back when Kest was KHY, they were still selling the Schrick camshafts. Now that they have converted to "Kest" they have updated the information about the cams. Their site lists them as:
Schrick BMW E36 M3 3.2L ´95 -´99 Camshafts US-Version
261 E1 641-V2 = Intake 264/11,2
261 A1 561-02 = Exhaust 256/10,6
...Now according to Turner's site, the lift on both the In/Ex are both 11.2
What gives?
I'm sure KHY sells the same Schrick cams that TMS sells.
That is what I am hoping is the answer. I am running the turner software and I don't need any problems to come about of this.
I'm pretty sure intake cam duration is 256 degrees too while the exhaust is 264. It's hard to have an off the shelf intake cam be "safe" when it has alot of duration and VANOS is changing its position relative to the crank throughout the powerband.
Naw, the intake cam is 264, exhaust is 256.
Anyone running hotter cams than these out there?
