or gasket spacer i should say and 93 pump not e85. e85 isnt easy to get for me
600-650 can be done with CES cutring and spacer, stock internals, and water/methanol system.

Do you really think meth is a must? I don't have a problem with meth just wondering.

Thanks so much for the help guys. You've been great help, really appreciate it. So glad I will be able to make the power I want with out breaking the bank too bad.

One more question for you actually. The SC61 is a journal bearing right? I have someone I know selling I believe it may be the same turbo he didn't give me any specs other then a journal bearing precision. I've heard some horror stories about them and don't know if I want to buy it from him or go with a ball bearing. Also don't journal bearings make less power because there not as easy to spin the turbine?

600-650 rwhp seems like a lot from a 2.5L on pump gas plus meth. Maybe with a larger turbo, but then you have more lag.

Yeah, my statement is for a 3.2L.

I was planning on doing s52 cams, arp head studs, and mls gasket. What's is the most amount of power I can crank out of it with that little motor work? Oh and I also need to rebuild my vanos as well but that's just maintains work.
I think chris72798 has a 93 325i with 2.5L M50TU. S52 cams, 0.140 MLS and a whole lot of boost might get 600-650 rwhp but not sure a whole lot of boost goes well with pump gas plus meth. Maybe. The little motor won't make much torque so the rods are not so much of an issue. I would think a big turbo would be needed, which means response would not be so good.

Seems to me like nicely built 3.2L are making 650 at 25 psi on pump plus meth with midsize turbos like 6266 or GTX3582R. A bigger turbo should do it with a few psi less, but also with less response. Put the bigger turbo on a little 2.5L and it would be an all top end car with a small power band.

I have a SC61 for a spare and it's twin ball bearing with the big shaft.

How is the F1 stage 4 holding up in this car? I didn't see anything about swapping clutches, or did I miss that. I didn't think it would hold this level of torque...

Clutch is holding well. Only had the stage 3 with stock dual mass flywheel and pressure plate t he first go round, but with chromoly flywheel and stage 4 I've had no problems

Borrowed my buddies lightweight wheels for springfest. Motegi mr120 18x8.5 et 20, 18x9.5 et32. The precision turbo feels alot better than those janky 50 trims, just need to retune a bit. At first i was seeing 15-14afrs at wot, added fuel from 3k-7k and got them down to 13-12afrs, haven't had time to dial it in better, just dont get into boost. Cruising still 14afrs. 20psi to come soon. Now to decide on methanol......

Did you replace and loctite the LSD carrier bolts in the diff? They have a tendency of falling out and killing the diff, especially on the '95 3.15:1's.

I did not, for now, but i upgraded the front bolt lol. I plan on doing a full reinforcement and bushing job, but i needed to swap the diffs in a real time pinch, but thanks for the heads up, ill get that done, should take no time.

Finally finished my wheel refinish. I found a set of z3 style 19 fronts 17x7.5 et 41 for $100, then a couple months later found a set of e39 style 5s, 17x8 et 20 with 2 wheels bandly bent for $100. So i decided to make a staggered set. At first i was going to use the style 5 faces, but decided to do style 19s instead. Style 5s are everywhere.

Got some photos of the car set for Springfest, the one big show i can make each year and a couple on the raggedy mobile dyno. LTW rep wing, bbs style 19s installed, and raced my cousin in laws tuned 08 gt500 on the way back home.
Vid sucks, and the music got distorted when sent thru messenger. Turn vol down lol.

Your car looks gorgeous bro. The video makes me wish we had straight open roads like that here in the Northeast. Nothing like enjoying a job well done 👍

Moved the wastegate to get a better downpipe. Now, to find a fabricator since mine quit his job and cant be found.
