Hey guys,
Does anybody have a picture of how the E36 euro windshield washer reservoir sits in the front bumper? I've tried searching google and a few forums and can't seem to find any pictures. I figured some FI people would have the setup if they are running top mounted turbos or use it for meth injection.
Thanks everyone,
Mike

I found this in the Bimmerforums "Euro" section.

I replaced mine to a little windshield washer in the bumper with the top mounted turbo
If you want you can have my
I remove it for the make the turbo
But I'm in France
I ran one while I was supercharged. If you buy the tank, you will see it fits in pretty much only one location. It hangs from the passenger corner of the bumper support, sort of surrounds the back of the foglight, and has a fill hose and cap that goes up to the Euro radiator support cover. Unfortunately no pictures as installed. I removed mine and went back to the stock tank when I went turbo because I put my air filter in that area.
Is this the bumper setup? Would be willing to sell as a package? new/used?
That's weird, i thought all euro E36's had the bumper mounted reservoir. That ones looks similar to the my M3. Do you have any pictures of your bumper mounted one?
Ah, so yours must be similar to the above picture right? I'm looking for the bumper mounted tank.
Thanks for the description. I have my air filter running up the passenger side fog light hole. That's why i'm trying to see an actual picture and if it would work with my setup. I could always reroute the air filter/hose.

I'm running a reservoir my dad had kicking around, pretty sure it came out of an escort. I made a simple aluminum bracket to mount it in the space the air pump used to live. The BMW pump fit right in and I just drilled a hole for the level sensor. I like the idea of keeping it factory but I was working with what I had. Obviously this wouldn't work if you have the euro coolant tank.

these resevoirs are, afaik, only used on the m3's with SMG (automatic shifting gearbox, euro m3 only) as the hydraulic unit takes up the space of the usual behind-the-headlight-mounted tank.
Select late model european in realoem and you should be able to find it.

Thanks for the pics guys! Looks like I can fit it, I'll just need to rerun my air filter up top, no biggie.
Now i can probably find it on realoem, but does anybody have a comprehensive list of all the parts needed to install? Would I need to order all the parts in daandaman's link? Thanks in advance!

I think you need pretty much everything listed on RealOEM

Your existing pump and fluid level sensors will fit. You will need to extend the wiring for them slightly, or move it around in the OEM harness. I never got that far. Over and above the parts I was offering, you'll need the radiator cover and #s 9, 10 and 11. And you'll need to plug the opening for the headlight washer pump.
(The bracket is missing from the pic, but I have it too).
