Looking for a rebuild/gasket kit for my Luk power steering pump.
Luk model # LF65B 2106234
Found the zf one, but can't find one for the Luk. It's different.
There is no kit for Luk.
No kit for LuK, I have searched for several years now, ZF is no problem.
Shogun tricks and tips for the E32 series are HERE!
I believe that you guys are correct. So I'm not holding my breath on this, but supposedly; according to my sources, there are 5 of pn#32411137707 available in the United States. Im waiting on a confirmation call. Will report back. I have hit dead ends everywhere, so Im planning on another here. Worth a shot though.
That part number says Vickers/Luk but the photo is of a ZF style single vane pump. Is there a single vane (no LAD) Luk pump? In that case you could probably just replace it with a ZF.
Here is the internet link I am using for reference. This pump looks just like my Luk pump that I took apart last night.

What is LAD?
That looks exactly like a ZF pump. Swap it out.
The dual vane Luk is the one that people usually want to rebuild but cannot.
I'll share pictures of my psp when I get home this evening.
What does the zf that fits as a replacement come from? 130bar.
Pretty much all E34's that don't have LAD (self leveling rear suspension) have a ZF pump. Plus E28/E30 etc etc etc, but I'm not positive that they mount in exactly the same way.
So, all e34's except mine lol. Ill go look at a couple in the yard this weekend as well.
Could be a '95 model thing... I don't know much about 95's.
Well, I just took a shot in the dark. Ordered a kit that is supposed to be for my Luk unit. I ordered it from a bmw distributor, out of curiosity mostly. I cant return it, so we will see. Should be here in a week. I'll report back.
I have this kit that BMW lists as the seal kit for the '95 Luk unit. As you can see in the picture the supplier is LuK Fahrzeug-Hydraulik with corresponding BMW part #
Not sure what the deal is but it is listed on several sources as the correct seal kit and it's made by LuK. I just haven't had the time to do the work on pulling and taking the pump apart, so I don't know if it will do the trick.
My Luk pump has some odd shaped gaskets in the middle. which I dont see in that kit.

I didnt take very good pictures. But thats what I have.
You guys may be right that there's a kit for the single vane Luk. The name immediately makes us think dual vane, for which there is no kit.
Are the triangle seals just bent O-rings?
No, the triangle-ish ones are form-made and are firm. I supposed that maybe the right sized o-ring could be shaped into the crevasse.
As of this morning, I cancelled my order for the Luk kit. 32411137707. Based on the picture that Jmac posted, I am sure to receive the same thing. The contents in that kit do not make up the entirety of what I need. No point in wasting $33. That $33 will buy me a zf pump from the junkyard.
So in summation, it looks like I will just be getting a ZF unit from the yard and rebuilding it with the zf kit that I already have.
Does the ZF PSP fit an e36? I have a Luk that is leaking and I was hoping to swap to ZF some can rebuild it before installing to eliminate any chance of it leaking.... At least for awhile.
Can a Zf pump be swapped for a Luk, assuming LAD is no longer present? Are the steering gears different between the two? Or are they only specific to engine?
