I think it should be optioned with at least a non-electric 6cyl petrol engine...but thats just me being a purist. I'm in line to drive one when we start selling em at my dealership.

Yeah, but they have to change with the times, and what an amazing combination of fuel efficiency and advancement in performance technology that, to my knowledge, has never been done before. It's obviously fuel efficient, and fast as heck, and they've eliminated turbo lag.... I mean if that isn't progressive than I dunno. And it looks damn sexy!

lol turbo lag = vw beetle ad bahahahahaha!

The Porsche 918 does this too ... but it uses two electric motors and 4.0L V8. Of course, it also costs 10x as much, but the technology is moving in that direction.
Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by hundreds of engineers that get paid thousands of dollars for something you bought at Pep Boys because your buddy who doesn't have a job told you it was 'better'?!?

I am not in love with the wheels. It is a shame the new M couldn't keep the other 3 Cylinders. 500 hp would be nice.
My 528 is a German Tank..
My 2008 Chihuahua is Blue deal with it
Always teaching now getting paid for it.

I was hoping for more power. Especially with such a radical look.

Considering at that price point it will probably be going up against the likes of the Tesla Model S Performance Pack... I was hoping for more performance too.

Yeah, the performance numbers seem a little underwhelming. I guess I thought this was more of a GT car, but it looks quite small and is very lightweight... I'm not sure if really has that 'king of the road' GT presence. But maybe it will. It's going to be a tough sell when the similar flagships are the R8 and the SLS - both a bit more expensive, but total powerhouses compared to the i8.
