What is the widest tire i can fit on my M3?

I have a 99 M3 that is lowered 1 - 1.5 inches with HIOP coilovers.

I want to get 18x9 inch rims for the rear tires will they fit? if so what offset will i need to avoid rubbing. And once i get them on will i be able to mount a tire larger than 245?

I have BBS RCJ's in 18x9 in back. I don't know the offset, but i have H&R coilovers, running 255/35/18 in back. It rubbed so i had to roll the fenders. You might have slight rubbing problems with 245/35, but that all depends on your drop and offest. Good luck
