Hey guys! I'll finally be moving back to Middle TN area next summer, so I look forward to meeting all of you guys soon. I'm looking forward to going all out with meets and diy's. I've been isolated for 3 years out here in OR
I want to find out which BMW's are in the area. So please post everything about them, like pics, what you've done so far, and what you'd like to do in the future.
I see this section isn't the busiest by far so hopefully this will fill up over time.
I guess I will start. I have a 1995 540i/6 that I bought from Shapeshifter who is a member on here. This is his thread that he started. He's done a lot so It's easier to post this link...http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...i-6-Chronicles
I look forward to seeing some other bimmers in here

That's awesome! Post up some pics when you can. The 5.0 sounds interesting in an E36.
Yea, I get that way too.
Well, I'm trying to get more traffic in this section. I know there are actually a lot of Tennesseans on this board, but not many actually come to this section. I'm in the E34 section a lot so I'll try to get more of them here if I can. You should do the same in the E36 section
This place used to be reasonably hoppin', but I left for a bit and don't know what happened.
I recently picked up a 98 328i Black/Beige/Auto (but there's a reason), with Turner software, Bilstein Sport/H&R M3-spec sport springs, LTW wheels, and, well, I think that's about it, other than a lot of maintenance (which I'll take over performance parts any day.)
I may even take it out for an autocross next spring. Oh, and I should have a roof rack on it by then, for the bike.

Yea, not sure what is going on here. I'm trying to get it going again. I know there are plenty of BMW owners in TN.
Post more pics of yours when you can;-)

Need a good, clean pic... But here's a quick snapshot after a long day of work.

Hey guys. I'm down in the Columbia area and I'll be around for a few weeks before I have to head back over the pond for work.
I've got my 1995 M3 in Alpine White/Black Vaders.
Mods:
- Ground Control coils w/ race camber plates
- 17x9.5 Apex ARC-8s on all four
- ZKW projectors
- 3 spoke steering wheel covered in Alcantara
- S54 swap by Technica Motorsports
- Full custom Technica exhaust
- Technica's S54 intake manifold
- and then tons of other bits and pieces
Good to see other members talking, I'm in south franklin/spring hill area. Definitely be down for a meet even with my (almost) stock 330. Some good looking cars here.
Nice rear shot! What do you do for work if you don't mind me asking?
Looks great buddy. Take care while overseas. It does sound interesting. How do you like the E36 M3? I've always been curious about them, but never enough to buy one yet. I like the 2 door M3s. Right now I really love my 540i, but who knows what the future may bring.
Yea, I'm trying to get this place going. I know there's a crap load of members from TN. They'll come around I'm sure. Once I get back in town I'll be trying to set up some meets. THat's for sure;-)
Hey... I work for Blue Cross in Chattanooga. Just a job, for now.
There's a TON of noise in that pic, didn't see it come across as much on the phone when I took it. Oh well. 328i with Bilsten sport/M3-spec H&R Sports for suspension, staggered LTWs, and Turner software.
Not a bad little car.

Well, that's cool MDragon. Sounds like a great job to me. Those mods are very decent.
How long have you had that M3 AlpineWolfe?
Have you guys had other BMWs?
I've had the M3 for almost 7 years now.
Damn... I used to work at that Walmart years ago! Hahaha.
Wow, 7 years... I've never owned a car longer than 2.. I'd like to think I could with this one, but reality will set in soon.
Now a C43...that's what im talking about. I just sold my 06 S55. Man I miss that car. I don't get too attached to cars to a point of keeping when I can get something new.
Post pics of the C43. Ive had a couple E55s that I loved.
I think I'm just attached to the M3 because of all I've put into it.
And the C43:
Very nice C43 touring. Love it!
Yea, I guess after having the M3 for that many years you would have put a bunch into it by now. What part of Alabama do you call home? I lived in Mobile a few years ago
I used to work in the Dothan area. Not anymore. Currently working in Germany and in the Nashville area now for the holidays.
I like the C43 quite a bit. I would love to bring it back from Germany to the states. Maybe I can make that happen.
Yes you definitely need to make that happen. Not many of those here
