E36 M3 ///M Stripe Decal kit for Valve Cover Plastic Trim

I am listing a decal kit that will give you the same results as pictured. The actual plastic valve cover is not for sale. Only the ///M stripes that will need to be installed by you. The colors match exactly with all the other badges found on your car. If you have a non ///M valve cover this kit can still be used. Install is straight forward and I will provide instructions and cleaning tips.

    Other pictures I have:

This is damn clever. Usually not a fan of these type of mods, but this is an exception, I love it.

Wonder how this would look on my S50.

The stripes could be of the same height, they will only be shorter on mine. And I can't tell from your pic if you cut the lines yourself where the nut cover are or are precut , as the S50 doesn't have these covers.

    Pm'd you

The nut covers are cut so I can remove them still without damaging the rest of the cover.

Yes I understood that. I was just wondering if you cut them after application or have them precut like that, which would in my case with there only being straight lines, a but of a pita to apply.

Nothin is precut only for the fact that I want there to be a little play for the installer. If someone wanted me to precut the pieces I can do that for them if needed.

It'd be pretty sweet if you made a yellow/black/red one too.

If there was a demand for those colors I could make them.

I thought tis is painted and not taped over, at least that is how your picture looks like.
How is the tape material behaving at high temps, any discoloration or melting?

Not sure how you would think Its painted? Its listed as a decal kit. The vinyl has a clear strip over that you take off and it's as shinny as paint. So far it's holding great with no issues. Heat isn't an issue. It's on plastic not a metal surface that would get much hotter. Like I've said before just make sure the cover is clean and heat treat the vinyl.

If I was installing it for you then yes I'd warranty the work. I can't warranty something you do.

Wonder how they work on the EU S50 cover, as it's from metal. And boy, those EU M3 engines run hot! Even the whole strutbat gets hot.
