Bluetooth DB25 to 54-pin ULF adapter

I have a DB25 to 54-pin ULF adapter that came with my used Bluetooth kit. It was used on a 2000 M5 but it wasn't needed for my 2003 540i because it already has the 54-pin connector pre-wired. This adapter is required to connect the Bluetooth ULF module to your car.

This is a home made version of the OEM BMW adapter cable, part # 84120308375. For E39 prior to 03/2002, E46 prior to 03/2002, E38 after 09/2000, E53 prior to 03/2002. (Please verify compatibility yourself). The OEM adapter cable currently retails for $45.

Asking $20 shipped for this cable.

I have a production date 11/2000 m5 where can I get the blue tooth module other than the cable you are selling

You can find the ULF Bluetooth module on eBay, from Bimmernav.com, or from the dealer. The best place to pick one up is on eBay. Bimmernav.com has the newest generation (13th) of the module which is not available in the US but it retails for $600. If you buy new from US dealers, they are only allowed to sell the 1st generation module which was problematic. eBay will have used modules at a much lower price and give you the option of finding something newer than the 1st gen.

You should stick with 4th generation or higher. The older versions had problems with pairing and sound quality.

Can't be too hard to snip the 54 pin part out of a wreck and bribe some poindexter genius to solder one up can it?
The 54 pin part seems to be the hardest part to find.
    Any takers?
I will send pop and chips and whatever it takes to get the job done!

    Lightbulb

Stuck my retrofit on this stage too.
Luckily indeed there are lots of ULF modules sold ripped with 54-pin cable tail, like this one:

the second connector, DB25 is a standard retro PC-cable.

And here’s the final pin-out for this adapter:
