    S50B30 valves - use stock S50B32?

So, I’m going to need to redo my head at some point in the future, and I’ll have it lightly ported and polished at that time. My question is regarding the valves. If it’s an easy (ish) swap, will I be able to use the stock size valves from the later S50B32? I know that the stems are a mm smaller, and the head size is a bit bigger - both good things.

I just haven't tracked down a 3.2 lower head for a reasonable price yet.

    Thanks,

Ok, thanks. Are the throttle bodies worth tracking down, too, or not too much gain from them?

Hard to say. They are 1mm larger in diameter. 6x .5mm larger radius.

But then I would also use the shorter B32 intake trumpets.

But just how much better? Only the intake valves are bigger, and the stems are smaller.

How much better can the ports be? The valves are the same lengths, so that means that the seats are in the same locations. It’s not like they changed the radii significantly.
