Yes. Premium gas is recommended. Like all SC systems, boost is a linear function of RPM and is fixed at redline RPM.

Working properly when in Limp Home Mode was one of our design considerations. So, yes. It has been tested.

For the record, I absolutely recommend the supercharger setup for 98% of owners! Definitely give John a ring, I wouldn't consider anything else an option really

I'm thinking John doesn't need any more practice!! Best money you will ever spend on your car. I did not ride in the SC car at 8-Fest, but I saw and heard it run. Absolute beautiful install. Owning a TT I can appreciate the grin on Walt's face that still has probably not wiped off. Double your power and you'll see what an 8 can do! They fly like a jet on wheels. Acceleration is like when the pilot lets go of the brakes on takeoff, then it just keeps pulling until you run out of runway or gonads!

The ESS system for the 540 has been used for the 840 in the past with minor modification of the mounting bracket. Not sure if it is CA legal though.

I wanted John to do a " live" install at 8 fest,but he said he would not have the time to do it with the tech secessions he was giving.

Except that he needed a supercharger to get the same performance out of it...

If hood constraints weren't an issue, I'd love to see a proper twinscrew on the M70/3. The sound would be epic, and the torque would be epic!

John, what is the price of your v12 supercharger kit? I only need the hardware as I can remap car myself. Has anyone fitted one to a CSi yet?

i can let you have a copy of the modified DME file once it's fitted and the injector part number.....that way you could offer other CSi owners a ready to go kit.
