Strange Problem-Traction control, Hand brake light yellow only when I first start

I have been having a strange problem for quite some time now. When I first start my car when it has been sitting for 8-10 hours it takes at least 5 seconds for it start and when it does start the traction light & yellow hand brake lights come on. Now when the car has warmed up after driving for 10-15 minutes I am able to turn the car off and start back up with no problems and no lights come back. I have been searching for a solution for quite some times now and have had no luck. No check engine lights either. This is what I have done so far

I have replaced Battery thinking its causing this because of low voltage
I have replaced secondary air pump hose (no the air pump itself)
Question: could it be bad vanos solenoid?
    Please help. Thank You

Welcome to the forum. You've picked an excellent place to get great information.

I'm a little rude sometimes, but I do try to avoid putting off first time adventurers to the forum. So please understand I mean no disrespect, when I'm very straightforward in my replies:

Quit throwing parts at the thing, and ask all the computers what they know. When the lights come on, a code is set - which means the computers know something, and they want you to ask them.

Take the car to a BMW specialist who owns a BMW-specific diagnostic computer which talks to every computer, and helps diagnose the problem.

Guessing is expensive; find out what's bad before throwing parts at it.

EDIT: Oh God! yes, of course, stanley is correct!! The brake fluid could be just at the level where cold, it's below minimum, and activating the sensor in the cap. By all means - CHECK fluid level, before taking it to a pro, Although truly, if it got that low, you likely need someone to look at the brakes and do a flush anyway.....
