Sunroof drains and others to be checked - location pics

The drain hoses are going thru the A-pillar and in the rear thru the C-pillar, here pics from an sliced E32 where you can see it

Then there are drain holes in the area under the wiper motor area to drain off the water which comes thru the fresh air grills above the blower motor

To check if the area under the doors in rocker panel area is full of water or if the drain holes are clogged, you can remove the door sill cover and check here with a flashlight

Another thing to check the drain hole inside the e-box at the lowest point (where DME etc are located in engine room), there have been reports that these drain holes got clogged and expensive electronic devices like DME got damaged.
Drain from area where wiper motor is located, here the IHKA unit is also going thru the firewall into interior room, if these holes are clogged, you get water into the interior.

If someone has more pics or hints where to check for clogged drain holes etc., please post them, then we have a detailed list.

In the trunk bottom on left side towards fender of my E32 are rubber flaps which lead the air from interior room thru the holes under the rear parcel shelf thru the trunk to the outside. Have no pics of these flaps.

Some pics are from E34, but basically the same.

1 more pic, water coming in thru the plastic covers under the windows into the area where the wiper motor/system is and the inlet flaps for the IHKA system, that is normal, water should then drain into the wheel wells of front fenders on each side, these small ports can clog, causing water to accumulate in that area and then enter thru the sealing of the IHKA housing in the firewall into the area where the IHKA is located behind the center console
