What is causing obd codes p1343,p1345,p1347,p1349 with rough idle????
What you have are a bunch of misfire codes:
P1343 - cylinder #1
P1345 - cylinder #2
P1347 - cylinder #3
P1349 - cylinder #4
These are all on the passenger side of the engine. If it was just one cylinder misfiring I would suspect a bad coil, but with all the misfires on the same bank, I would look a little deeper into the problem.
BTW, here's listing of BMW OBD II codes - http://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/bmw/
Possible passenger vcg needs R&R, have you checked for oil?

before throwing out generic information, get some details first.
the codes OP posted are generically labeled as: Misfire Cylinder (X) with fuel cut-off
this is not a typical misfire code. generic basic typical misfires are P0301-08, with these codes not present this potentially could be something deeper. for example on a toyota these codes have to do with the VVT system, so maybe its a vanos issue?

vs
p1340 camshaft positionsensor B circuit malfunction >> While this is not the code posted, like P0300 (generic misfire for any cyl) maybe the CAM sensor is going out?

I agree with WarMachine, check your gasket for leaks. I had a similar problem when I "cleaned" my engine compartment once. Thought I was being careful, but somehow some water got under the coil cover. Removed the cover and saw water dampness. Just enough to cause some electical shorts.
Process of elimination what do u guys suggest I do first??
Well i guess check for oil since all u gotta do is remove the coil packs and sparkies.

Personally I would check for vacuum leaks first.

This is from another forum but I have shared his work here before on wheel sensors. It is written for E39's, which include our M62's. This goes into when the DME shuts off fuel and such.

what about a clogged cat on that side? Ive heard similar issues with a clogged cat
Get some break cleaner spray it over the intake an manifold while car is idling for leaks cheap easy place to start
People say carb spray, gas from a torch or a smoke machine is more effective though.

oil iin wells check first
could also be guide rails.... I had a bunch of odd codes on my bank1-4 when the rails started to fail.. I would check for vacuum leaks first though, as that is the cheapest to fix and the most likely culprit..
I started with nothing... and I still have most of it left.
OK guys I pulled off bremi coils on both banks and all are bone dry and I'm not leaking oil anywhere so I'm not sure if its valve cover gaskets now. Any other ideas
Now check for vac leaks.

ok i switched coil 4 with 8 just to make sure it wasnt coils before moving on and reset sel. car still ran rough so i drove about 25 miles then light came back on with new code p0011 the dreaded camshaft any help guys
what should i do next?
drain the oil, drop the oil pan and look for plastic chunks... also look up inside there while you have the pan off
I started with nothing... and I still have most of it left.
I'm not sure you can do this on the M62TU engine, but swap the left and right camshaft position senors. If it moves to the other side, its the positon sensor. This is the easy part.
Then would come the oil pan search for parts.
I recently had a neighbor who had similar issues as yours, it was a timing chain issue. His chain jumped one tooth on the splines and he was getting misfires on only one side. His engine did not sound like a diesel like they normally do with a timing chain guide failure, so its possible you have the same thing.
And gents, Sig is right.
