did you try realoem.com? if so and it didn't help, perhaps contacting a reputable BMW shop would be next. Mine offers lots of help with things of this nature.

There's not that many vac lines on a 1.8, I'm sure somebody here can explain where each one goes within 4 sentences
Sorry OP, I only have pics and explanations for a 2.0.
Oh - search result for you:

Both of my factory shop manuals, dated 01/80 and 10/81 only have the diagram for the 2.0 engine. There are other diagrams in them for the fuel system layout and electrical schematics, but curiously, there is nothing for the vacuum lines on the later cars.
The same is true for the Haynes manual which includes a supplement for '80-'83.
I know it's not what you are asking for, but maybe this 1978 hose layout diagram will be helpful in some way:
Here's the underhood emissions sticker that Tom mentioned:
And here's a photo like you asked for that might be helpful if you can make any sense of all that plumbing on the 1.8 engine:

^ I looked through my blue book as well and could not find a diagram for a late car

probably because there isn't any. according to the underhood sticker posted by john there's two. one for the ignition advance and one for the purge valve. there would also be one for the brake booster. what else? there was some kind of cold start retrofit that hangs on the firewall and has a relay, but I don't think there's vacuum involved.

Tom,
Actually, there is a vacuum line that runs from the silver diaphragm (immediately above the air cleaner in my photo above) and runs up to the intake plenum (going through a white plastic reducer). It is parallel to my gold painted plenum support/post. It was part of that hard start retrofit kit (BMW Campaign 83E-A01).

I guess there is an important question that hasn't been asked:
OP, are you having a vacuum leak or are you just trying to do some preventative maintenance?

I see the one line that goes from the distributor to the throttle body but the t-fitting that goes from the valve cover? This pic is the closest i have to actually seeing where it goes.motor01.jpg
oh yeah I remember that one, we had quite a discussion here about it, but unfortunately I forget.

And by the way, that is not a vacuum line.
