Hellrot sedan with an Alpina lip would be pretty rad!

Though I think your car looks great as-is CblockM3! The stance and wheel fitment are perfect.

Note that the Alpina lip is reeaally low, so it'll want to scrape on everything, especially on a lowered car. Some Alpina owners have switched to the M3 front end for that reason

Have a link by any chance? I would love to have a spare.

Thank you for the kind words! Your Alpina is very very worthy! I'd love to see pics of it more often, especially the interior!

This is the lip I've seen on Ebay...I actually PM'd someone a while ago that has one (can't remember his user name but he has a black sedan and lives in Europe) and he said the fitment wasn't very good so it turned me off.

Maybe I missed it somewhere but what offset are your Arc 8s and what size tires are you running? I just picked up a set of M-Pars & the rears are et25 and I'm debating on tire size..

Your hellrot looks fantastic! Nice work on the build. the techno looks great as well.

You aren't kidding, not the most common size. Auto Parts Guy, you should have more selection hopefully with the 18's.

I promise I wasn't fishing for compliments, just thought it would help you picture it. But hey, I'll take it, thanks I really should start a thread on the car. It's been apart for quite a while as I pick over a few things at a slow pace. Thanks for the link to the lip on eBay, I'll take a look.

@Auto Parts Guy - nice car too!

Someone snapped this pic of my car this weekend at E36 Treffen, sort of a weird little E36 only car show that not many people came to lol. Thought the pic was cool though.

So clean, and that is a really cool shot. I like how your car is barely shown but clearly focused in on.

Looks awesome already. Man.. it was sorted to start out huh? Mishimoto rad, or just the expansion tank? I'm ordering one for my new acquisition, along with radiator and hoses. First thing. My Hellrot vert (new to me) is pretty much all original, so routine maintenance stuff first, but congrats on this pick up man... !! Cool sedan, which I favor myself over coupes a great deal.

More I look at your pics, more I'm drooling. Very sweet!!

Thank you! It was pretty sorted when I got it, the plan was to keep it a daily driver, which never happened because I can't seem to leave anything alone.

I was lucky that the PO put in the Zionsville kit in this, although he didn't have the fan wired correctly and had the wrong auxiliary fan relays in the car. Then my water pump failed and I replaced that, the hoses etc. and ended up buying a whole wiring harness from another E36 and fixed quite a bit of wiring, replacing cut harnesses etc.

I still really want to do s52 cams, m50 manifold, and a tune but that will probably be a while.

Thanks a lot man! I've enjoyed your thread since you picked up your car, too bad we aren't local to each other.

Thanks! Yeah the color change is easy and definitely worth the trouble.
