Well I just got back home yesterday from an 1800 mile drive to pick this car up from a forum member (thank you Drummberboybisch) and had a blast. Very excited to be in another e36 after not having one for a couple years. Car drove fantastic all the way home and didn't skip a beat. Pretty excited about the pickup and not sure exactly what all I want to do to the car, it is pretty well sorted and a blast to drive.
2019 Edit, lost all of the pics but here are a couple from picking it up:

Looks really nice. Not sure what's underneath, but my guess is a proper steering wheel recover might be a good thing.
Thank you. The cover isn't too bad, not sure what the wheel looks like underneath. It will get replaced with a tri stitch of some sort eventually tho.

Looks great to me but I'm pretty biased towards Hellrot sedans Looks to be in really good shape too.
I personally think smoked taillights and corners look better on Hellrot than the ambers, but I know everyone's got different opinions on that one. There are a few pics in this thread.
Otherwise keep it clean and shiny side up and you should really enjoy it.
I think amber's look better in photo's but in real life I kind of like the clears so I'll pry just keep both sets around. Thanks for the kind words! Gonna do some clay bar, polishing, and waxing this weekend, then I will try to get better pics.

Clay barred and waxed the car this weekend. Also ordered a 12mm spacer for the rear and am going to lower the front just a bit...will probably order a front spacer once I get it sitting how I like it. Also need to get my front plate mounted properly. Snapped a couple iphone pics but will get some proper ones once I get the suspension dialed in.nnee

Lowered the front just over an inch and added a 12mm spacer in the rear, really happy with how it sits now.

Been messing around with the suspension more lately. Added a 12mm spacer front, 15mm rear, and lowered a bit more. Also added some frenched highs (will pry lose those and go amber eventually) and added the front plate

Looks great! Nice and clean example of a non m.
I've been messing around with the e36 as much as I can when time permits, which has been very little lately. I was under the car the other day and was very happy to see the PO had welded in subframe and diff reinforcement plates! Also doing some cleaning.
Replaced old crusty door handle gaskets.
Replaced my steering wheel with a m3 4 spoke to get rid of the awful steering wheel squeak. It is a decent upgrade, but I have since ordered a 3 spoke from Shepott on the forum which I am anxiously awaiting to get. Also swapped out the cluster while I had the wheel off.
Also replaced the side trim with some m3 moldings.
Next up on the list is a new LSD rear end, which I can't wait to get done!

Does it have a metal expansion tank?
Yes, it's a Zionsville shroud and tank.

Love the wheel brother, very nice. I have the same on only wrapped in alcantara with m-stitching as well. Beautiful looking car, keep up the good work.
