What (exactly) are the differences between Alpine White I, II, & III ?

Are they actually different shades of white or maybe a formulation change? Different OEM suppliers? I may have read clear coat comes into play somewhere, but can't put my finger on it. Are they interchangeable? Etc. Much thanks.

They are different tints/colors. If you had paint chips of all 3 side by side, you should be able to notice the difference.
