Hey all. My electric locks won't work. Fuse #5 is a-okay. There's power to the Central Lock Control Unit as I can see the relays working when I work the locks. (I took the control unit out with battery off. Kept it in the upright position, hooked it up, connected the battery.) I can see the relays working. The central lock control unit's little internal fuse is soldered tight and has continuity. Yet no locks working. Any thoughts on what I look at next??
Could the control unit still be toast even though the relays and fuse are okay? What other options
test a door lock - & sw's on drivers door - ck for elec pulse to selonid if no pulse - change out control box.
if a door sw is bad - it can make locks - go on & off till control unit burns out - been there done that !
A new one? I could have sent a good used one for 20 shipped.

Hi Andy,
I am replying to this old post. I need an e28, 528e central lock controller for my 1984 BMW, BMW part no: 61-31-1-373-323 (I believe for my year). Do you have a good one? price? I am in Ohio. Thanks., Bruce
