Hello everyone, my name is Andy and this is my first post here. I just bought a new (for me) 2004 330Ci convertible which I simply love. It's my first BMW and I'm liking the car more and more everyday. The issue I am having has to do with both of my sun visors. What's happening is that the plastic cover that slides left and right to close/open the mirror is stuck and I can't get it to slide. I mean, it's stuck solid, almost feels like it's glued down. Seems to me like the Florida sun has melted the plastic inside the visor or something since I can't make the darn thing to slide. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any suggestions and/or solutions other than getting them replaced? Thanks in advance!

mine did that so I took the top and bottom and lubed it up with a light silicone spray and they worked fine

Same problem. Removed visor. Tapped the slide at an angle as if trying to open it, and it broke free.
