Everyone is commenting on the high beam bowls, being stock versus Frenched (yellow). My v1.0 were frenched. I wasn't wild about it so went back to chrome, OEM look with v2.0. I am intentionally not providing detailed photos yet as I'd like to give a bigger reveal when its out of the garage and I can get proper photos

Getting ready to wheels to show up HOPEFULLY next week.
- - - Updated - - -
Since I had to ditch the OEM heat shield I wrapped the OEM ECU box:
Also more useful gauges:
And the S50 hardpipe I custom fit just needs to be welded up after I make some support brackets for it:
Updated the OP as well to include all the winter projects

4/13 update- Rush to Schuh
Got pictures out for welding quote.
Got the email for:
Lips have arrived back from polish and wheels are now in "assembly" and should be ready in the next few days.
Shipping notification from ECS for my new ECU fan and CD blank.
Passenger window sliders done in place
Driver window sliders slated for tomorrow with replacement of glass due to marring/scratches/broken weather strip rubber
Cleaned up the wreck of a garage a bit and reorganized 4 drawers in my expanding tool chest/cart

Just ordered new inner/outter weather stripping for both windows since I'm replacing my scratched up glass and it seems my weather stripping is rubbed raw from the carnage below. Also grabbed a shorty antenna, and fresh brake wear sensors since mine are "jerry rigged" from last season to get to "free shipping" status.
For those that missed it... my slider/driver glass replacement quick job got real serious pretty quick: Link
The bracket and my ECU are at rk9000rfw's for some welding and de-programming.
A few shots from the other thread for record keeping:

They "claim" it does the same as the gold foil wrap. I had my hand behind it with my heat gun on it and it did a sufficient reduction for sure and that is direct heat versus the "ambient" that will be seen by the ECU box. I just got a brand new fan as well to circulate the air inside since my original was dead upon inspection.
Also update:
Got my bumper and underpanel final fitted today.
Door prepped for Randy to come by Saturday.
Bracket primed and prepped to be rewelded Saturday by Randy.
Primed and painted one coolant tank bracket that was bare.
Received, Carbon wrapped, and installed the new ECU box fan.
Tomorrow will likely be final installing the last gauge since the bulb condoms show up tomorrow and putting together what I can of the interior.

Well motor is "together" but found my thermostat housing was seeping after adding coolant. Will be addressing that tomorrow with some RTV for the light pitting I found.
Driver door is half way together
Fitting the positive tower under the hood I forgot the battery was hooked up and blew the 80A fuse in the hatch and have to go get parts for that tomorrow.
Wheels are shipping today, I got high-def photos and they are amazing. They are getting shipped directly to my raceshop that will be mounting the tires I dropped earlier this afternoon.
FYI for anyone interested the weight of the wheels (on my highly calibrated bathroom scale) were as follows:
295/30/18 Yokohama AD08R -31lbs
255/35/18 Yokohama AD08R -28lbs
I'll weight the wheel/tire combo when I get them back for estimated wheel weights.
In addition to the mentioned above I still need to:
Receive box from ECS with new window weather strips
Reassemble both doors, and finish installing the driver door glass and getting it readjusted.
Reinstall removed panels from hatch for locating/replace 80A fuse.
Repair passenger door card before reinstallation (pulled vinyl)
Install last gauge when CORRECT size bulb condoms show up
Reinstall lower dash panels
Aim headlights once on ground
Trim wheel liners
Adjust coilovers (maybe)
Corner balance (maybe)
Alignment (maybe)

Missed this comment. Since when does "Frenched" mean yellow?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French...8automobile%29
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=bmw+frenched+headlights
Seems the first set of links dates as far back as 2009.
In at least the BMW community the "French" lights were due to OEM Boschs were yellow coming from that area as I understand it.

Since WW2...
During the war, French officials needed an easier way to differentiate cars registered out of their country, so they adopted rules requiring yellow-tinted headlights. The rule requiring yellow-tinted lights on French civilian vehicles managed to stay on the books until the '90s.
Your link is actually the first I've heard of any other meaning for "frenched lights"

Just found out that my wheels showed up at the shop today and the first one is getting mounted as I was calling to confirm they made it safe.
HOPEFULLY on the ground tomorrow! I'm going to call them again tomorrow when I wake up to see if they are ready since the guy mounting them is taking his sweet time (as he should be!) and definitely won't finish tonight.

She finally came out of the cave this morning:
Still need to dial in some stuff before they get reveale.
The VDO gauges are completely in, and the center console put back together.
Passenger door is together.
Lower dash is getting the LeatherZ footwell lighting treatment and the center console tabs rebuild so that is next
Driver door needs the regulator pulled for another crack that was found previously hidden by one of the arms before that will get redone.
LeatherZ sunshade was put in
LeatherZ footwell lighting is in as well
VAC hub extenders are in the mail as well as some spacers to dial the fronts in
