Thanks, I had one on my E36 and liked it alot. These were a little more difficult to fit, but it works well.
Did all the wire splicing for the alarm over the weekend. Now I just need a few hours to get all of it ran and plugged in the car sometime this week/weekend.
Found my camera that had some other updating/cleaning photos. I'll get those uploaded and posted here in the next day or two.
Hoping to hear back today about the offer I put on the house as well. Fingers crossed.

UPDATE: 8/17/13
Got the keyless installed yesterday.
Had an idiot moment and forgot I needed to change the polarity on the aux1 output from ground to 12V(+) so made a mid-install run to the store.
Installed and wire tucked up:
I now have Keyless entry and remote window roll up
Photos I had from a time before I was working on it but forgot to load up:
Rusted X-brace got scrubbed and rustoleumed for now:
Cleaned all the brake parts as well... these are are how I found the sliders:
And how they went back in
Also found 13 years of dirt behind the fender liners (weight reduction 101):
Also have my oil sample ready to go out to Blackstone next week to see how the motor is doing.

I noticed the brake pins had grease on them. That is not good for the OEM rubber bushings the pins slide into. The grease will soften the bushing allowing too much flex and you will get uneven pad wear and reduced stopping ability. They are suppose to be dry. I would replace those bushings. If you have brass aftermarket bushings, not recommended for street use, I would replace if this is street use or lube every couple months.

I'd go amsoil but that's just me.
I want that MM panel so bad I have to just order one...

Is that grease or deteriorated rubber?

From what I saw it looked like old grease. I'll be double checking the bushing this next weekend when I replace my rear pads.

Noted. I never knew to not grease them. Not to mistrust you but I confirmed in my bently they specifically say to not lubricate them. Thanks for the tip.

Looking good bro.
M driver, RSV4 Rider, Powerstroke roller
Thanks snik.
Man I can't get a break with this car. Replacing the filter to block gasket today and broke the ground stud off the alternator.
Replaced the rear pads and removed the SAP today.
Alternator to order is Bosch AL9414X (115A) for anyone interested. All local parts stores and websites call up the wrong alternators (An 80A and 140A that DO NOT FIT) these I am guessing are for M3 S52 equiped cars.

This is a nice thread. Car's looking good so far. Steel Gray s52 dammn what a rarity!!!
More or less, yes. I Haven't trouble shot it yet, but currently my lights arent flashing. Might be a polarity issue, or a wiring issue.
The other hard part is finding a plug for the siren, if you want to keep it plug and play. Mine currently is still missing the siren.
I put it in for the keyless option and the ability to know its locked when not staring at it (2-way system), along with remote window roll up. So its not a high priority since these things work and I have other things I need to sort out first.

After talking to the body shop yesterday and the little difference between fixing all the "trouble areas" and a full respray the plan is to just do the whole blooming car. So as life plans go it will be put on the back burner till a house with garage is purchased to protect said investment in paint.
Still more to come.

That is the perfect idea! ^ Just do everything else until you are ready for paint.
Great work

^Thanks
In the plans is a full Exhuast, or possibly replacing the driver window (scratched up) and tint, or suspension components. Trying to weight the smiles to dollars ratios
I havent decided what I want to do first. The sliders are getting replaced soon, so tint and window replacement would make sense to do at the same time, but its not a high priority so I may just replace the window. While the doors are torn apart I plan on taking car of the seperating wrap on the top front corners and replacing the driver insert that is badly worn.
Luckily the wheel bearing I thought was going bad was just the uneven brake pads making noise. I was holding my breath, but after driving it with the new pads a bit the noise has disappeared and it looks like I finally got my first break with the car.
Also currently looking at a set of 18" ACS II's, so no decisions will be made yet.

Late update but had a chance to properly wash and wax the exterior Oct 4th. Still slowly getting parts replaced here and there. Have headers sitting under my bed for when I get the exhaust work done and just got some AKG poly subframe bushing to help keep my floor together.
Oil was replaced when it rolled over 95000 and sent a sample to Blackstone for an anaylsis that gave the motor a clean bill of health.
ACS's logistics got worked out and they should be shipping to me Monday.
Threw in an old radio for Ipod usage till I can get it replaced properly.
Post waxing shot I took while waiting for my Realtor to show me a house (which was horrid) back in early Oct:
