Mark, I know i'm two years late to this post... but my best wishes and prayers in regards to your Son, I'm still yet to hit my 20's so don't havew any children yet, but can only try and imagine the stress your under. Earlier this year I was without work for three months myself, so I know the financial burden of that by itself is immense, then plus medical expenses. I am more than happy to contribute whatI can to help your medical expenses, and/or buy your son Marco a present or two.
Also, I'll buy a hood - are these still available? I'd like to also get a rear roof spoiler, I assume it looks great though unfortunately the photos wont load
Cheers man, and best of wishes - let me know the email to paypal and I'll send that through when I next get payed (next week Friday)
Thank you for the well wishes. Marco has come a long way since his stroke. He'll be a senior in high school next year. He struggles with subjects that came so easy to him before this, but we deal with it regardless. Myself, I just had a bypass surgery on my leg that went to shit, a total nightmare.
As far as the hood and roof spoiler go, they're still available. Contact Rob at robscollision@aol.com.
Best wishes with all Mark, Glad to see you messaging.
Mark, all the best to you and your Family !

Appreciate you reviving this thread. Just ordered an Alpina hood from Rob. Much thanks.
You’re more than welcome
Glad to hear your son is coming along and I hope that leg heals up quickly as well (jeezz dude).
Wish this was a viable option for me here in Australia.

I bought one 2 years ago and finally getting it put on along with a complete repaint of my Diamond Shwartz 850 to Carbon Black. He just finished it and sent a photo, I haven't been able to get out yet and look at it but from the first photo looks pretty good. He does say the hood is a bit thicker than the steel one thus it has a bit more rise from the front clip than the original hood had. Take a first look, what do you think?

I've been thinking about getting one. I didn't realize the hood was thicker. Couple questions: 1) How noticeable is it? 2) Is it thicker all the way around? 3) How can that be adjusted? 4) Can it be made thinner? 5) How did others manage that issue? I notice you have no Nacaduct. I assume you preferred it without one. Are louvers cut open?
Any ideas how the louvers could be cut in a steel hood similar to the Alpina design?
