The clutch problems seem to be fine. There's never a point where I can't get in to a gear. It could use a slight more space for another shim but I drove it for a good 2 months (daily) in city driving last year without any problems.
AC is wired and compressor is also there. Just needs custom lines made.

Been driving it for the past week or so now:
Car is 100% leak free. I ended up getting a customer P/S line made after trying to fix it multiple times from different spots.
I am posting the car for sale soon. I don't drive it very much (has sat for the past 2 years) and I could use cash (just bought a house).

Hi guys, just an update. The car is sold.
It went to a retired gentleman who will be really enjoying the car and plans on daily driving it in summer. I think he got a great deal on it as well.
I'm picking up a lightly used 2016 GTI which will be replacing both my daily and summer car.
It's been fun, learned lots, got a lot of grey hair, great experience. Would never have the opportunity to do something like this again - I don't think.
