    LOL, I meant to type 18” style 42’s.
    What Michelins do you have?
    Is the suspension original?
    I assumed the suspension was Dinan, since you have everything else Dinan.
    How do you like the transmission software?

    Ah ok, that makes sense!

    They’re Pilot Sport A/S 3+

    I liked the tread pattern, they were supposed to be pretty quiet at speed, and were only $1000 with lifetime road hazard and balancing/rotation from Costco.



    It’s primary mission was to be a cool commuter car so I wanted to keep the suspension stock and compliant/comfortable.

    I qualified for the Dinan badge without any of the suspension bits. You only need 10 points for the badge.

    3 points - Cold air intake
    2 points - High flow throttle body
    3 points - Free flow exhaust
    2 points - Front strut tower brace
    2 points - Stage 3 engine software
    1 point - Performance auto transmission software

    The auto transmission software makes the slime shifter somewhat bearable.

    The most noticeable change is when using it in manual Steptronic mode, it absolutely holds the gear you select no matter what. It’ll bounce off the rev limiter until you upshift it manually to the next gear.

    But if you floor the pedal and push the detent down, it will upshift to the next gear at redline.

    It isn’t a manual but it’s better than the stock auto.

    Sold this car to a friend last month who loves it. He's got an E30 and E34, both of which have been tricked out so the car is in good hands.

    Although I'm no longer an E39 owner, I still have some BMW fun with a 74 2002 tii that needs some TLC and my 2014 RTP.
