My book says the headlights are H7 bulbs. People tell me the low beam is 9006 and the high is 9005. Which is the correct bulbs for my 95 M3? Thanks.

I'm willing to bet they are the 9000 series. 9005/9006... Hi/Low.
Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by hundreds of engineers that get paid thousands of dollars for something you bought at Pep Boys because your buddy who doesn't have a job told you it was 'better'?!?
Looks like you have a European book and not a US one.
European cars (except UK) had H7 bulbs from around 1996 onwards for high and low beam.
I'm pretty sure that US cars had 9006 for low - don't know about high but I'm sure anyone else here would be able to tell you.
Michael.

Just in case my book is wrong, what's the correct fog light bulb?

Yep - fogs are H1 in both Europe and US.
