Not yet. However, I did spray some electrical component cleaner into the belt buckle recepticle as well as the plug connectors. Haven't driven the car since (which is about a week ago) I'll report back this weekend as it'll be driven then.

There is a tech bulletin on this from BMW issued in December of 03, 72 03 00 BMW tech bulletin. If you continue to have any problems let me know and I can email you a copy of the procedure.

UPDATE cleaned the buckle with electrical contact cleaner and the light has not been an issue since.

I left my seat belt buckled while I drove for a week and then carpooled with wife in passenger seat (seat usually is unoccupied) for a few days and the light remained off until today when I put 2 text books on passenger seat on way home from work. I think I'll get the cleaner if it keeps coming back on.
